Impulse Biomedical 

Impulse Biomedical is a multi-medical device development start-up based in Cape Town that that develops affordable healthcare technologies to address issues around anaphylaxis (severe allergies) as well as asthma. Their mission is to ensure that people can afford lifesaving medical devices by developing novel and innovative technologies that ensure cost effectiveness, improves clinical efficacy and overall quality of life. The team are starting off with their ZiBiPen – a reloadable adrenaline auto-injector as well as their Easy Squeezy – an asthma inhaler-assist device, but aim to develop numerous technologies moving forward.
